Early visual development and assessment: the promotion of visual functioning in young children with sight loss

An exciting series of workshops delivered by Dr Lea Hyvarinen, Senior Lecturer at the University of Helsinki, Finland. They will explore the early use of vision as a basis for early intervention. Lea will also present the materials she has developed to test children’s visual acuity, contrast sensitivity and colour vision. The course is taking place on Monday 6 October in London, Wednesday 8 October in Birmingham, Friday 10 October in Leeds and Monday 10 March in Cardiff. Places cost £130.
