AAC Study Day: Language Development in Typical and Aided Language Learning
This day will focus on the communication development of children who may benefit from AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). Presentation & workshop topics will include: Cognitive processes and language learning; Typical & aided language development; Recent evidence for AAC introduction and use.
The Study Day will be relevant for those working in a classroom and/or home setting. Many aspects of the day will resonate with older age groups.
The presenters will be Janice Murray & Juliet Goldbart from Manchester Metropolitan University, and Michael Clarke from University College London.
